"Taking inspiration from the Beyond the Little Black Dress exhibition, experiment with materials and techniques and learn how to create striking fashion illustrations.
This workshop is led by fashion illustrator Katie Braid. Katie has produced creative work and illustrations for Rolls Royce as well as fashion brands Charles Jeffrey and Rixo.
Katie's research and illustration investigates emotive drawing for fashion. Often reactive to how a fashion event or show impacts her emotionally, she makes marks to record her personal experience. Responding rapidly, she is inspired by the pace of the music, attitude, movement and cut of garment.
Katie is a visiting Fashion Illustration tutor at Edinburgh College of Art. "
